The ITAIPU Special itinerary, in addition to the external route (which includes stops at two viewpoints and the external area of ​​the plant), includes an additional stop at the top of the dam at 225 meters above sea level – and a visit to the internal area of ​​the dam. dam and the engine room, where it is possible to see up close the Forced Conduits (White Tubes), the Concrete Cathedrals, Central Control Room, Gallery of Generating Units and the Turbine Shaft.

Guidelines

– Age: Only over 14 years old.

– Mandatory: go to the ticket office within 30 minutes. in advance for visitor registration and photo.

– Mandatory: Identification document with official photo.

– Footwear attached to the heel and without a heel or up to 3cm in height and a minimum width of 3cm.

– No type of bag is allowed, lockers available worth R$10,00 reais.

– The tour is outdoors and our buses are open on the sides at the top, so it is recommended to use a raincoat on rainy days and a coat on cold days;

– We are in a binational security area, so all visitors must pass through the security barrier with an x-ray machine and metal detector portals to check belongings;

– This tour may change its route, depending on the Plant’s needs;

– The use of drones is prohibited.

Half price policy:

Check information at the time of purchase. Half price for students only applies to Brazilian institutions. For foreigners, half price is only valid for people with disabilities. Proof and document with photos are required.

The “Itaipu Special VIP” consists of a private tour of the Plant's facilities, whose attraction offers a unique experience of visiting the internal and exclusive areas of the Plant, with an exclusive guide, adaptable itinerary for service and lasting between 1 and 3 hours. With a fixed price, the tour is offered for up to three passengers, per departure. With daily service, it is only carried out by advance reservation and the tour has clothing, safety and age restrictions.
